Students at my school have expressed interest in gaining computer knowledge such as coding that extends beyond the use of popular social media sites. Digital literacy lessons would occur on a regular basis during the lunch periods when students have open access to the school library. With a projector, students can better learn computer skills and applications as they can follow digital literacy lessons projected to the wall while using the twenty desktop computers that currently exist in the school library. Additionally, the projector would assist with lessons that teach students how to use the Internet effectively for research when teachers bring their classes to the school library for instruction.
