My students are incredibly kind, hard working, and creative. They strive everyday to make connections with their peers and adults. Relationships are imperative for my students to learn. Because of this we are a Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) school and have been for the past 11 years. In August of 2021 we changed from a Junior High to a Middle School with a focus on the whole child. Advisories were added and now students have another layer of support from kind, positive teachers. We Lead the Way in innovative strategies to support our students. I am proud to be a school counselor at Darby Middle School.
