This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple and 4 other donors.Have a Seat!
Funded Oct 5, 2016What a wonderful blessing these resources have been! The kids were so excited to receive each and every piece of the shipment. They had never seen a brand new piece of school furniture. That in itself was enough to bring a smile to their faces. We use the table each and every single day! Whether it be for RTI or small group instruction or a seat of choice during any activity my students absolutely love it.
Many days we use the table for our math center rotations. Each group of students will spend 25 minutes with me and we go over our math lesson for the day. Each student has a "color" they sit at and each colored stool corresponds with a colored dry-erase spot on the table. Students are able to use these "spots" to show me their work. Many of my students choose to use these spots during independent work time as well.
Students have been and continue to be eager about our table. They jump at any chance they are given to use it. In a way it has become the heart of our room. All activities and free time re focused around the table. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your contributions. We are planning for many more math and science activities to happen around our table.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Butts
