It has been proven that students who are able to choose where to sit and work in the classroom usually do better on assignments than those who use traditional seating. Flexible seating will help my students to reach their maximum potential! My students love sitting in different places around the room to read and do their assignments. Their best work comes from being able to work in non-traditional seating and workstations with clipboards, while laying and/or sitting around the room. By providing them alternate seating options like bean bags, bedrest pillows, saucer chairs and exercise balls, my students will be able to choose the option where they are most comfortable and able to focus.
