I teach a K-3 "Special Day Class" (SDC) with students who have mild/moderate disabilities. Although my caseload can change each year, I typically have 12-14 students in my class with two paraprofessionals. My population is filled with varying ages, diagnoses, ability levels and needs. I am passionate about student learning and I strive to ensure the needs of my students are always being met. I take pride in creating a classroom environment that is engaging, collaborative, and inclusive.
