My students may not be able to attend, but the materials and information I learn will help me be a better reading teacher for them! Several students in my class are reading below grade level, so reading is already challenging for them. This opportunity will allow me to learn how to create more engaging activities for my students in our classroom. Attending this professional development will allow me to bring back different strategies and teaching techniques to help keep my students engaged in all parts of our reading block. I will be will some of the best educators in the country.
