The supplies I am requesting will be used to give my students a language assessment that is needed to not only develop an individualized curriculum for each student, but to develop measurable and attainable IEP goals that will help my kiddos become successful learners. Items such as a laminator, laminate, and Velcro will allow me to make a lot of the items needed for the VB-Mapp kit. Those items are also useful to help build communications skills for those who are non-verbal. All of my students rely on pictures to help them communicate, these items will help me make communication boards and books to help the students to access the curriculum throughout the day. The sensory items on the list will help students to feel less overwhelmed when learning.
