I want to create a learning environment that allows student success through organization. Organizational skills are built in middle school and allow for greater independence in a hands on science classroom. When students are given greater responsibility in the classroom they take ownership of their learning and their work. These organizational and preparedness items will allow for this type of a learning environment. These items will also allow for a safe learning environment. Weekly labs incorporate many different materials. Having bins for group supplies and materials will help reduce time lost and maximize time on task. The station for turning in work and locating missing work during absences will increase success as well as foster responsibility.
