The books that I am requesting are evidence-based. The recommended activities in these books are supported by science and have proven to be successful. I would like to have access to the most current resources to address my students’ needs. The materials will also allow me to structure group and individual sessions in a more individualized manner to increase student success. Students will also have additional visual support to provide the necessary scaffolds to minimize frustration. Also, students need to be engaged and motivated in order to to learn the strategies required for independent learning. The additional materials have been chosen to keep students motivated and engaged as they work towards becoming effective communicators!
