This project is created to help my students get the supplies that they need to complete their centers successfully, and engage them in academic learning. By purchasing these materials, and books, I hope that I can meet the scaffolding needs of all my students. Centers provide the perfect opportunity to meet the individual needs of every student. The storage bins, and shelf, will allow my students to be responsible for picking out their own tools for learning. Materials like magnets, dice, Wikki Stix, crayons, and spinners help to illicit their curiosity as they explore their specific station. Additionally, the books on the list are hand selected and will be used for whole group read aloud and independent reading. My classroom library is outdated and does not have a large variety of texts. With this selection of books I hope to demonstrate to my kids that reading is fun!
