I teach at a very low income rural school. I have students who eat little outside of school and work at a job when the school day is over. Outside of my classroom, many of them do not have access to the resources most people take for granted. Although many of them have hard lives, most are striving to be successful. I'm trying to help level the playing field so they can find the success in life they deserve and desire.
