Thank you for stopping by! I am the teacher to a wonderful group of 1st and 2nd grade students who are in a specialized classroom to support social emotional, behavioral, and academic needs. Students have significant interpersonal and social skills deficits; which impacts their academics. We work daily to build positive self-esteem, practice coping strategies, build social skills, and of course, academics. Many of my students, at this young age, have endured trauma in their home lives. We work to support them, listen, teach them kindness, and give them the love they deserve and need. My students have such wonderful enthusiasm for school; I love their excitement. Learning can be difficult, and education not always supported in their homes, but they show up everyday with an open mind ready to do the hard work. Our class is a warm and exciting place to be. Thank you again for looking at our page.
