Welcome to Ms. Bjornson's Art Room! Art has the potential to create meaningful learning experiences for children that can cross content boundaries and allow students to excel in academic, socio-emotional, and physical development. However, art requires many resources to provide all the pieces needed to create the holistic educational experiences possible that can reach a multitude of students in diverse ways. Johnson School of Excellence, located in a low-income neighborhood in the west side of chicago, is committed to providing students with rich learning environments that will prepare their students for college, the work force, and beyond! My artists and I thank you in advance for helping to support the creative learning that will prepare 21st century critical thinkers!
