Throughout the day my students and I gather on the floor to create breaks from sitting at tables all day. A rug for my kinders will give them a soft, encouraging sitting area to concentrate during floor time. I do not currently have a rug and I know I don't like to sit on a cold, hard floor; therefore I would love to have a rug so that my students don't have to. On a typical day, the students and I will gather on the floor at least 3-4 times a day. What a wonderful surprise it would be to see those faces light up to see a rug just for them!
