We need art supplies - beads, twisteez, scratch foam print making kit, and an E-Z cut kit. These materials will help my students grow in their creativity but also strengthen their fine motor skills. They will be able to make sculptures, draw with oil pastels and create shadows with smudging, make jewelry for themselves and their family members, and create prints. They need more variety in the art center so they can become young artists and architects. Art is such a good way to work through stress related to their home lives and gives them a way to express themselves. When they are able to create their own artwork and show it off, they are able to gain confidence and find their identity.
