I am a literacy tutor for roughly 20 students. I am creating this project because I am going into my first year tutoring, in my own classroom, and I have absolutely nothing of my own for my classroom. This project is going to help me to create a classroom environment for myself and my students that is going to be warm and welcoming, and not look so much like a closet. Each of my students would benefit from the materials I have selected because it will give each of them their own drawer for filing, their own whiteboard for working, their own marker and eraser, etc, without them feeling like they are going to lose their stuff or it will be taken and moved where they can't find them.
