In a world that is moving towards a more digital, it is important for students to become familiar, comfortable, and even experts on technology and research. With resources such as Teaching Tolerance and other sites that celebrate diversity, students will find an engaging way to access these learning opportunities. Additionally, laptops will give students access to learning how to research and educate themselves efficiently and effectively. They will learn to seek out correct and meaning information. Yes, books are a way to explore outside the classroom, but technology is the doorway to full-on immersion! With Chromebooks, students will gain the opportunities to not only explore the world outside their classroom, but also interact with it! With these laptops, I hope students can explore new subjects like film editing, coding, and other technology-based skills and careers.
