Flexible seating allows students to work where they feel most comfortable. My goal for providing different forms of flexible seating in the classroom is to allow each and every student to find a place where they work best and will be most successful. The furniture that I have selected: stools, office chairs and fidget bands as well as a new organizing system will help me build a rich community in my classroom where students learn not only curriculum, but about themselves as well. It is important to be able to recognize what makes you successful. I hope to help my students see what makes them successful and guide them to make those decisions themselves.
