These materials would change the way my students see books. They love to read, and at the young age of 5 they are dreamers, leaders, and achievers. By seeing themselves in their books they will feel such a sense of pride and inspiration. As a teacher I will be able to bring their culture to the forefront! America has always been called a “melting pot”. By providing these books to my students, they will truly see what that is and what it means! It will take personal connections to a text to a whole new level! They deserve that opportunity!

About my class
