Flexible seating has been amazing. I have different places in my classroom where kids can work and do their best. The kids love to pick their own spot and some spots work better for some over others. Having different sitting options allows kids to have more autonomy and learn about how they learn best. By having these stools in our classroom, we will add to the number of sitting options. These stools will be offered to students to use at their tables, and during our small groups. It will also add the number of places kids can sit in the classroom. In our classroom right now we have exactly 22 chairs, so if we have any visitors or guests (or even a new student!) we don't have enough places for them to sit.
