The students in my classroom have demonstrated the importance of collaboration to improve oral language skills in a dual language classroom. Flexible seating in my classroom will encourage students to unify their thinking and produce a much more cooperative classroom environment. Even though my classroom arrangement invites students to work in a small group, the flexible seating will improve the choices given in the classroom, it will enhance their working stamina while reading or writing, and it will promote student collaboration and communication. The chosen products in the basket have been selected based on my students academic, social and emotional needs. I am truly confident the addition of flexible seating in our classroom will increase their engagement during small group instruction. The wobble cushions will be directly used with most high sensory needs students, and since you can move the cushions around the classroom, I will encourage students to take them to the rug while they listen to our daily mini-lesson.
