By helping me fund this project, it will not only help my students during this time of the pandemic, but also when we return to our classroom it will help future students. This project is for my students to have access to quality and diverse library books that will continue to spark their love for reading and have something to look forward to every day. With having a large selection of books genres that ranges from classic children's books to learning about information, the learning possibilities are endless. I would be able to chose the books more intentionally and more meaningful to my students. With the use of the document camera, I would be able record myself reading the stories in a different view in where the students would be able to see the book's details, see the words closely and clearly. Instead of me holding the book, and the illustrations and words are not as clear. I would be able to teach my students how to make deeper understandings of how we read, what read, and the importance of having those critical and essential reading skills that are needed to be a successful student and reader. When returning to the classroom or teaching from home, I would be able to project the small book that is meant for one person's view, to expanding its pages onto the wall or board in where everyone can experience the book and learning more interactive and where they can come up and point and describe what they see. When I am teaching from home I can use the camera not just to show them the book closely, but also to use when I am teaching live online and conferencing with families and students. My students and I would really appreciate it. Thank You.
