These books and resources will enhance the social-emotional curriculum our district is using to promote school-wide SEL. My library is a place that all students and staff will have access to in order to enhance SEL already occurring in the classroom and across the school. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind-what they are enjoying, what SEL competencies they are learning, and what needs they have. These TPT resources will provide visuals and guided learning to help students learn about their emotions and how to regulate them, how to get along with peers, solve conflict, make friends and keep themselves safe. For teachers and staff these books and TPT resources will be available to supplement and strengthen their current SEL practices. It is my hope to build a resource library for teachers and students alike to strengthen social-emotional skills and improve outcomes for the young people in my school.
