My students want to learn, they want to read, and they want to practice with the language. Collaborative learning and graphic novels are a great way to encourage practice with the language. The sticky board posters will help facilitate conversations in English, while the graphic novels will help my students gain access to a world of literature. My students need more experience with English--it is my belief that collaborative projects and graphic novels are the best way to encourage language acquisition through reading. Please help my students receive these materials and books so they can feel more confident in their language acquisition process. As language acquisition is very much intrinsically motivated, giving these students the tools they need can help lower anxieties so they can immerse themselves more fully in the language!
