We want to learn about food chains and life cycles of owls. We have owls and other birds of prey in our area. My students are eager to learn about them. Although we’ve seen owls occasionally, we haven’t been able to find their pellets. However, purchased pellets are sterilized and safer for us to explore. They also have heard of croquet and want to experience the game. It will be a useful tool for team building, strategy lessons, and fitness. Team building is especially important because my students live on a colony where group effort and activities are prevalent. Refining working as a team is a life skill they will utilize.
