As an educator, I am extremely inspired by the incredible students that enter my classroom. Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are always eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge. They come from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Though the majority of my students come from low-income backgrounds and receive free or reduced-price lunch, their drive to achieve, regardless of their circumstances, is amazing and inspires me to be the best teacher I can be. They make me proud as I witness them turn challenges into opportunities on a daily basis. They are creative, intelligent, and unique individuals that are inquisitive about the world around them. In such a diverse classroom, there are many different learning styles and needs. In order to help meet these needs, I strive to offer my students a comfortable learning environment where they feel safe and welcome!
