Our students do a really great job utilizing coping skills, asking for breaks and communicating what they need to staff. We always like to make sure our children's basic needs are met first, that way they are able to focus more on academic and therapeutic work time. Our students greatly benefit from snacks throughout the school day. We use them with positive reinforcement, as well as encourage them to ask for a snack break to calm. In donating to this project, our students will receive some of their favorite snacks to be available to them throughout the school day. This would greatly help them become better learners and succeed.
