I plan on implementing a program at our school to offer a chance with hands-on robotics. These LEGO Mindstorm EV3 sets would be used as an enrichment tool expand our student's interest in Technology, Engineering, and Science. Having the hands on building and programming will be a huge step in the right direction of expanding our STEAM program at our school. I hope to use the 2 sets to challenge students in using the engineering and design process to try things out and then make improvements on what they have made. I am a firm believer in students having a hands-on approach to learning in the classroom and I feel as though these EV3 sets would help accomplish that for our physical science content. A student seeing their creation moving around and accomplishing a task would be a huge push towards more interest in STEAM careers, and that is what we are hoping to accomplish.
