Every morning I am greeted by the faces of 23 smiling kindergarteners. My students come to school each day with a positive attitude and are always eager to learn despite the many challenges they face in their lives. I teach at a public school, and we are doing amazing things to raise student achievement. Many students come from challenging backgrounds - many have limited access to technology in their homes. Several of my students are English Language Learners who came to school knowing very limited English. Despite these challenges, my 23 students are incredibly motivated to learn and are making me proud each and every day with their achievements!
