My super second graders are such great children who love to learn! They live in an urban city where many of them are being raised by single parents or grandparents. Many of my students are academically behind in grade level, while a only few are at or above grade level. Many of them also come from homes where English is a second language, so it's important to have them reading and writing as much as possible to help them learn our language.
