Our elementary school is nestled right in the heart of Downtown Louisville in an impoverish neighborhood. More than threequarters of my students are from lowincome households. They are a diverse group of courageous, creative, and loving learners. They love to collaborate with one another sharing ideas while synergizing for a common goal. While facing trials at home, most find solace in our classroom community daily. My students voluntarily celebrate each other's diversity and stories through mutual experiences. I strive to create an environment that is inviting, loving, and kind. With your help, you can help me achieve my goal of preparing the leaders of the next generation.
