The XP Pen Drawing tablet connects directly to existing classroom technology to seamlessly integrate art and technology. This exposes students to multiple digital tools, from the use of Adobe Photoshop in Art to multiple literacies in math. Nearby, Gordon Cooper Technology Center offers a dynamic student program prepares students to go from high school to the graphic design workforce. All of these opportunities can be explored with these drawing tablets.
Having these tablets in the classroom allows students a differentiated learning experience within the art classroom, and beyond. Students will explore Adobe Spark, create web pages, cards, graphics, flyers, videos - the individualized learning opportunities are seemingly endless. Students will be empowered to create multi-modal projects that suite their individual interests. The tablets will also take "field trips" to the math department to help with digital graphing lessons and differentiation, when not in use by art courses.
