The bean bag chairs, rug, and floor lamp will go a long way in creating an inviting environment for our students with disabilities to explore books and try their hand at reading in a judgement free zone with the hopes of igniting a love of books and reading. Since reading can be intimidating for students with disabilities, creating a place where students can unwind and be comfortable with a book goes a long way with encouraging them to read. Our goal is to show them that there is a whole world of reading material they can read to help build their reading skills and hopefully instill a love of reading.

About my class
