The small table and chairs will help support kids that need a flexible place to work and sit in during class time. Students need to feel comfortable and I feel that flexible seating supports this through differentiating where they sit during the day. I plan to use the furniture for students that have difficulty working on their desks as well as using them for small group teachings and student focused centers. I cannot emphasize the importance and difference that flexible seating makes in a child’s life. It will make me happy to see them working and enjoying class in a place where they feel like home.
