When students are engaged, they are more likely to comprehend different concepts, critically think, and be excited about learning. Tablets can help bring education to life and allow students to access valuable information. Along with the tablets, I feel students need other sources to reinforce skills. The Scholastic News subscriptions will allow students to read about engaging current events and connect to the real world. This will help them tackle the rigorous Common Core standards with meaningful text, skills, and strategies.
