Our school is a Title 1 school where the majority of the children who attend are from low income families. As we experience budget cuts and other decisions that impact our classrooms, the need for materials continues to grow as we attempt to update our classrooms and keep up with the latest technology to enhance learning. Many children are experiencing reading for the very first time in our classroom, yet there are not enough books in our classroom listening center on their level to get the practice they need. They are a great group of kids that are very eager to learn how to read because it is something that we instill in them as extremely important.

About my class
