Students in my class love to read. I have a large class library, but lack the funding to get periodicals and magazines for students to share. The books in my classroom library I have bought myself at used bookstores, garage sales and library book sales. Students are expected to read 40 books within the school year, and to read from a variety of genres. Each school year I focus on expanding classroom resources in a particular genre to continue to build my classroom library. Finding high quality informational reading materials for my students is my challenge for this school year.
