I am working to create a print rich environment for all my kinder students regardless of in person or virtual learning. By establishing a more well rounded library, my students will be able to have the opportunity to develop and grow their love of reading. The majority of my students are low income and thrive on the chance to have a classroom library filled with various reading levels and topics. These books will be loved, cherished and appreciated. They will also allow for individual book bags to be made and sent home as needed. With these books and shelving our classroom library becomes a place for all students to find a book that fits his or her own personality, but also individual reading levels. My students always show an amazing interest in reading and this library would enrich their knowledge and independent reading ten fold. A love of reading and growth in reading stems from practice. The more they read, the stronger they become!
