This year will be a challenge for all children, families and teachers. Because of the dangers of transmitting the corona virus, students will have to carry their own supplies to and from Art class. There can be no sharing. At this point, the only supplies typically on their supply lists are pencils, crayons, glue and scissors. One of the most exciting things about coming to the art studio for these 5 - 8 year olds is using the “special” materials - they all CAN’T WAIT to paint! But my art teacher budget is not large enough to supply enough for each child. With your help each child will not only be able to still use exciting materials, but they will actually be able to KEEP these materials. What if instead of only causing a disruption and sadness, the corona virus actually led to something exciting like a child having his or her OWN set of oil pastels and watercolors, so the fun art-making can continue at home!
