The PowerMyLearning family engagement program creates a positive bridge between the teacher, student, and parents. PowerMyLearning does this by offering a multi-lingual platform where communication can take place and students have the opportunity to teach their family about what they are learning in class. My 7th grade science class struggles with communicating what they are learning when talking with their parents and family due to a language barrier. My students are excited about what we learn and do in class and teaching their family what they are learning will increase and solidify their knowledge of the science content we cover.

About my class
