Oh the perils of moving to a new school! I love my new school, but am in need of lab equipment for specific labs that I have found to be very worthwhile. I have been teaching for 22 years and have developed various hands on activities that I feel are effective. These are the activities that students find interesting and enables them to learn from their investigations. The hot plates that I am trying to acquire will provide my students with various opportunities to be engaged in such activities. These activities are the kind that result in student making remarks such as, "Wow! That is so cool!", or " Now I get it!".
