This is the MOST excited that I have been in my teaching career as far as what we can do for our children. With this opportunity and these resources, I plan on starting with Pre K and Kindergarten and laying a strong framework with teaching our children that math is all around us and that it is absolutely something that CAN be fun. Something that everyone on the planet has to be involved in is money, so that's why I chose to first fixate on financial literacy. I will use Table Talk Math by John Stevens with my faculty to cultivate an environment that parents feel more at ease with the idea that you can have authentic, math-based conversations that everyone can benefit from.
