Students at our school come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, and many of the students face the daily challenges of a low-income/high poverty community. For many students, coming to school is filling their tummy with food, filling their heart with love and filling their mind with inspiration and possibilities. These students come to school full of life, excitement for learning and eagerness to grow. When these students come to school, it is my goal to create a rich and loving environment -- an environment where they can learn, create, imagine, grow, explore, build their confidence, feel valued and develop their individuality in an accepting atmosphere. I want my students to know that I believe in them and they can do anything. I want to inspire students and show them their amazing potentials.
