With distance learning ahead for the upcoming school year, whiteboards that are used in the classroom will provide students with the ability to share their work at a distance. I teach math and utilize dry erase boards, markers, and erasers. I especially use these tools when I help students in small groups to help them improve in their mathematics skills. Although, the whiteboards seem very basic for my students, they provide a light for me to see where they are academically. Students can use the boards to show me what they understand or simply practice his/her math skills. These tools will make a difference in these students' learning.
