My incredible students experience many things in a sensory way and these tables will allow them a unique learning opportunity that serves their needs. A sensory light table allows for learning and growth in so many areas, including mathematics, literacy and social emotional skills. The sand/water table can be used for many sensory activities and can be changed out thematically based on what we are learning in the classroom. SO many fun learning opportunities will be given through having these awesome additions to our classroom! These tables will help reduce frustrations, assist with calming and will be used as a positive reinforcement as well. Learning through play is what is developmentally appropriate for these preschoolers and the light and sand/water table will help us do just that, LEARN!
