My third grade students are willing to learn when they are provided visual and auditory assistance. Why, so you say? Unfortunately, students as young as third graders are pressured to do AMAZING on the statewide assessment. If not, they basically are not promoted on to the next grade level. With the use of an iPad,students will be able to access a wide variety of applications and web based sources. An iPad will help meet their individual needs and interests in reading. These children need visual and auditory stimulation as much as possible to master reading and language arts skills. The use of an iPad will provide students to access applications and other resources that will help reinforce instruction that was previously taught. The iPad will provide differentiated instruction that the students need in order to be successful.
