Math manipulatives will continue to provide a sensory-rich learning environment. My students enjoy kinesthetic learning and love when the manipulatives come out. I don't currently have enough for an entire class, and my students are, at times, unable to get extra manipulatives to visualize concepts. With these math manipulatives, my students will have enough to strengthen their understanding. Struggling students learn math best when they can create a concrete visual before moving on to a conceptual and abstract understanding on paper. Manipulatives will allow my students to grab enough units, tens rods, hundreds flats, and thousands cubes needed to explore and solidify their reasoning.
