Kindergarten is an important year where students learn foundational skills in reading, math, science, and social studies that will help support their learning for many years to come. The foundation must be strong so that these concepts can be built upon year after year throughout their education. iPads will be used in my classroom to engage students in their learning and reinforce important skills and concepts to help guide them to success. Using the iPads, students will access educational applications, create digital products, assess understanding, and conduct research. The iPads will provide struggling students with extra practice and reinforcement, and will provide enrichment for the students in need of a challenge. Having technology in the classroom will allow me to further personalize my students' learning experiences.
