My students come from a variety of backgrounds, but one thing they have in common is that they enjoy learning. I believe using manipulatives in the music classroom can aid students in understanding concepts that they may not understand through other learning styles. My school has a high ELL population, but believe that no matter what their primary language is, every student can earn to understand music. I hope to use these items in my classroom to teach my students different music concepts on a level that is easier for them to grasp.
