High School seniors ambitious enough to sign up for AP Literature, not only willingly agree to take on a course that is more challenging than your average English class, they also understand that they must READ and WRITE more than the average high school senior. As their teacher, I am working diligently to provide my students with newer novel selections that take us away from the classic novels written by old white guys, and expose them to a world of diverse new cultures and viewpoints, to help prepare them not only for their AP exams in the spring, but to help them consider the human condition, and the importance of embracing one another, despite cultural, religious and social differences.

About my class
